4.1 等差數列 Arithmetic Sequence (A.P.)

通項公式	General Term	$T(n) = a + (n-1)d$
求和公式	Sum Formula	$S(n) = \dfrac{n(a + l)}{2}$

$a$ = 首項

$d$ = 公差

$l$ = 末項

$d$ = common difference

$l$ = last term

4.2 等比數列 Geometric Sequence (G.P.)

通項公式	General Term	$T(n) = ar^{n-1}$
求和公式	Sum Formula	$S(n) = \dfrac{a(1-r^n)}{1-r}$

4.3 無窮等比級數 Infinite Geometric Series

$S_\infty = \dfrac{a}{1-r}$

條件 Condition: $|r| < 1$

等比數列首項 4，公比 3。求首 5 項之和。

G.P. first term 4, ratio 3. Find sum of first 5 terms.

解 Solution: $S(5) = \dfrac{4(3^5-1)}{3-1} = 484$
